Community service opportunities

Throughout the summer and until the winter, UB Students for Life has gone out into the Buffalo community to help others. We have heart and we have determination to help people who may have a harder life than most. Helping out the Cystic fibrosis foundation in Buffalo was very important because we do care for the sick especially when sick unborn babies are aborted because of their disabilities. We helped out with a huge cancer fundraiser that happens in the city of Buffalo as well. It really showed in our hearts that we want to do whatever we can for cancer patients and those who struggle mightily because of grave health conditions. As a new club we are taking it to the community. The community that supports us in what we do, in what our vision is. Now it is our turn, our duty to give back and help those who help us. Another community service opportunity that we took part in was in the Linda Yalem run which is a run that commemorates a local woman who was murdered on the campus while exercising. Being prolife and seeing murder and intolerable, we knew we wanted to volunteer for the cause.
